Family Forum Japan (FFJ):

FFJ is an interdenominational non-profit organization which teaches family themes, bringing understanding of the family and the home from a Biblical perspective. Through such teaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ can be shared in Japan. FFJ produces and publishes printed and audio-visual resources, conducts seminars, and provides radio broadcasts, all centered on such themes as marriage, parenting, and abstinence education.

FFJ was founded as Family Focus Japan in 1996 by TEAM missionary, Tim Cole, in association with Focus on the Family, USA. In 2006 that association ended and the name was changed to Family Forum Japan (FFJ). In 2012, FFJ became independent of TEAM and is now under Japanese leadership.

Word of Life Press Ministries (WLPM):

WLPM is the largest Christian publishing, retailing and distributing enterprise in Japan. WLPM publishes Christian literature, Bibles, music, software, DVDs, curriculum, gifts, church and kindergarten supplies.  Their products are distributed through an internet store, mail order service, a traveling bookstore van and a chain of bookstores throughout Japan. WLPM is also involved in ministry to the blind, nationwide tract distribution, and a camp and conference center.

WLPM began in 1950 under TEAM and was directed by TEAM missionary, Kenneth McVety, until 1994 when Mr. Motoyoshi Tago became the Group President.  It became independent of TEAM in 2003.

Pacific Broadcasting Association (PBA):

PBA is a radio and TV ministry which produces programs for adults, youth and the blind for the local churches of Japan to use in their evangelistic outreach.  Bible correspondence courses, message cassette tapes, tracts and materials for the blind are available.  As of 2012, church groups around the country were using PBA’s programming on about half of Japan’s AM/FM radio stations, and 13 TV stations.

PBA was established in 1951 as a joint project of TEAM, FEGC (now SEND Int’l) and CBFMS (now WorldVenture). TEAM missionaries Bernard Holritz and Arthur Seely were involved long-term with the ministry. In 1960, PBA was incorporated, independent of TEAM.

BJapan:

BJapan produces and broadcasts radio programs over the internet in order to “proclaim God’s Word to our fellow Japanese, and raise their awareness of the Truth contained within it”. They desire to support Japan’s many small churches with practical aid, projects, and support.

BJapan began as a cable and satellite radio channel called Friendship Radio. It was founded by TEAM missionary, Steve Tygert, in 1986. In 2005, it became independent from TEAM and began an association with Back to the Bible with the new name, BJapan.
