We are planting a family-supportive church with outreach activities such as English classes, English cafe, Bible studies and special events to reach the community for Christ.
Near the site of the 1998 Winter Olympics, the Matsumoto Valley hosts 400,000 inhabitants and one of Japan’s most famous castles. The northern Japanese Alps attract skiing and hiking tourists, and the dry climate supports a thriving optics industry and agriculture. Our network of local Japanese pastors, tent-makers, and business leaders is a strategic base for a movement of believers to reach Japan and the world.
Christian Academy in Japan, a school for the children of evangelical missionaries in Japan, equips students to impact the world for Christ. The Christian Academy in Japan offers an American-based curriculum taught in English. CAJ offers classes for students from Kindergarten - 12th grade. There are currently has 470 students enrolled from over 30 different nations with staff from a number of different countries.
We work with local Japanese church leadership to aid in the establishment and growth of the church. Using our unique skills, interests, and passions, we facilitate opportunities to spread the gospel and invest in the spiritual lives of Japanese believers.
Japanese people need Christ. We are very conscious of being available to the Lord, using our gifts so many will find Him and then grow into a deep, personal relationship with Him.
We use retreat center facilities for God’s people to find rest and relaxation so they are ready to return to their ministry physically, spiritually and emotionally refreshed. We also prepare people for ministries throughout Japan, and host events such as church camps, counseling opportunities, seminars and conferences so people’s lives can be enriched, both personally and professionally.
This ministry initiative seeks to provide learning and development opportunities for all TEAM Japan missionaries.
In order to support the growth of the local church in Japan, we have established a number of ministries which produce various forms of media and teaching. Our desire is to use all means possible to reach different groups of Japanese people in the best way possible through these resources.
We desire to see new Japanese Christians continue strong in their faith when returning from overseas, and be used by God to see them reach out to others. Relationship building is essential to see returnees connected with local churches and with each other so they can be effectively discipled to live out their vibrant faith before others.
The Shinshu Community Church Ministry Initiative is one church with two campuses in the small towns of Miyota and Ueda in Nagano Prefecture. This "mother-daughter" church initiative is actively involved in building bridges between the church and the community, building bridges to the gospel through showing the love of Christ in tangible ways throughout their communities.
We have started our vision of establishing innovative churches in Tokyo with a café in a lively area of downtown Tokyo. Our café provides a non-threatening environment for us to use as a spring board for relational evangelism which is incarnational, living and meeting the people in the local community at their point of need.
We are a network of nine churches, planting and nurturing reproducing churches through English conversation classes, music, cooking classes, street evangelism, parenting meetings and lots more.
TEAM Center is a multipurpose facility with the desire to encourage ministry workers and partners by providing accommodations as well as meeting rooms in the heart of Tokyo.
